About this episode
What if your favorite non-horror movies were actually secret sequels to the scariest films ever made? This week, Mike, Kat, Andrew, and Matt test that theory as they delve into fan fiction for the first time, connecting a classic horror movie to another film sharing the same actor. For instance: imagine Jack Torrance didn’t actually freeze to death in the hedge maze; instead, the Overlook preserved him but shattered his mind. He escaped, took the name "Melvin Udall," and moved to a cramped NYC apartment to write romance novels. And there you have it— As Good As It Gets is officially the sequel to The Shining . You get the idea... or maybe you don't, but it was a wild discussion regardless. You’ll want to hear this one. Plus, Mike & Andrew discuss BACKROOMS (spoiler-free), the horror-comedy sensation WIDOW'S BAY and the CAPE FEAR remake series. Become a supporter of this podcast: .
