About this episode

Phenomena, directed by Dario Argento stars Jennifer Connelly who, while attending boarding school discovers she has a psychic connection to insects and teams up with Donald Pleasance and a chimpanzee to find a serial killer. We start out by discussing the 'no body, no murder' common law established in the 17th century and the more modern cases which set new precedents for convicting bodiless murders. This is Based on a True Crime. Based on a True Crime is a podcast where Chelsea’s love of true crime and David’s love of horror movies intersect. Each week we will be discussing murders and/or mysteries, along with the pop culture they have spawned.
