About this episode
It’s that time of year again. In this special end-of-year episode, we look back at 2025 and break down our personal Top Horror Movies of the year — the films that scared us, surprised us, stuck with us, and refused to leave our heads long after the credits rolled. We keep things fun, talking about why certain movies hit hard, what trends defined the year, and how 2025 stacked up as a whole for modern horror. Some picks were obvious, others caused heated debate, and a few may catch you completely off guard. Along the way, we shout out a handful of honourable mentions — movies that narrowly missed the list but still deserve love — and discuss a couple of highly anticipated titles we wanted to watch but just couldn’t fit in before the year wrapped. If you’re looking for recommendations, curious where your favourites landed, or just want to argue with us from your headphones, this is the perfect way to close out the horror year. Hit play, settle in, and let’s find out which films truly defined horror in 2025. If you enjoyed this - Check out my other content here - Become a supporter of this podcast: .
