About this episode
A quiet town in rural Ohio has built a reputation on an old legend—a creature said to roam the surrounding woods, glimpsed in the dark and whispered about in hushed tones. Most locals treat the stories like harmless folklore… the kind that makes for a good festival and a few campfire laughs. But some legends aren’t meant to be celebrated. When a winter storm rolls in and a late-night drive turns down the wrong road, a young couple finds themselves confronting something that may be far older—and far more dangerous—than anyone in town ever imagined. And before the night is over, they’ll learn that in places where myths are treated like neighbors, the line between story and reality can vanish without warning.
