In the fall of 1956, a stranger arrives in Belle Carne with a fiddle and an invitation the whole town seems eager to accept. His tent has appeared beside the bandstand, admission is free, and he promises enough music to keep everyone dancing until morning. For George and his friends, it sounds like a welcome escape from another uneventful evening. Even the local preacher has joined the crowd. But beneath the stranger’s cheerful patter, something feels wrong—and inside his candlelit tent, the excitement begins to take on an unnerving urgency. Everyone is welcome at the performance.
