About this episode
On a lonely stretch of backwoods road, faith and fear walk hand in hand—and not everyone makes it home. In this chilling episode of Drew Blood’s Dark Tales, redemption comes at a cost, and belief proves far more dangerous than doubt. A man trying to get his life back on track finds himself brushing up against forces that thrive in secrecy, ritual, and righteous conviction. What begins as an ordinary night spirals into something ancient, violent, and profoundly wrong. Set against snow-covered fields and isolated rural darkness, this episode delivers grim folk horror steeped in religious obsession, misplaced devotion, and the terrifying consequences of believing you’re doing God’s work. Some evils don’t announce themselves. They gather quietly. They wait. And when they act, they leave nothing untouched. Listen with the lights on. And maybe stay in this New Year’s Eve.
