About this episode
Cthulhu Cthommentary is an episode-by-episode exploration of the dark recesses of The Call of Cthulhu Mystery Program - exclusive to Patreon, but we're bringing our two-part exploration of the first episode of "Night at Howling House" public. In Cthulhu Cthommentary we go behind-the-scenes and share ALL our secrets: the roleplaying paths not taken, the obscure historical and cultural references, the uncanny depths of research that go into our parody commercials, and much more. In part two of our exploration of "The Dare" we dig deeper into character origins - exploring the improvised development of Joey and Dirt, and the lengths our Sound Designer, Colin Peterson, went to develop this series' spatial audio.
