About this episode

Kevin McMillan has spent years as the invisible janitor at a struggling television station, scrubbing toilets and polishing mirrors while dreaming of something better. But when the station’s drunken meteorologist suddenly disappears minutes before a live broadcast, Kevin is shoved in front of the camera with a fake mustache, a weather screen he barely understands, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reinvent himself. Overnight, the shy, obsessive custodian becomes the station’s newest on-air personality—and discovers he possesses an impossible gift for predicting the weather with terrifying accuracy. But Kevin’s sudden rise to fame comes at a horrifying cost after a grotesque creature crawls out of his bathroom drain demanding blood in exchange for its supernatural “gifts.” As the thing grows stronger and Kevin’s career skyrockets, he finds himself dragged into an increasingly surreal nightmare of body horror, delusion, murder, and warped ambition where success, sanity, and monstrosity become impossible to separate.
