Part 1: The Child Killer - John Thomas Straffin's escape from Broadmoor led to the implementing of air raid sirens to warn the public if patients were on the loose. Unfortunately for a few poor children, these warnings came far too late. (John Thomas Straffin, England) Part 2: Spoons - Robert Maudsley saw himself as sort of an avenging angel for those who were victims of childhood sexual abuse like he suffered. Unfortunately, his acts of vengeance and vigilante justice led to stricter punishment than many of the monsters we cover here on the show. (Robert Maudsley, England) Part 3: The Plumstead Ripper - Robert Napper had a particular affinity for brutally raping and killing women in front of their young children. He used their worries about the safety of their young ones as a method of controlling his prey, but no mercy was ever shown.
