About this episode

Ahhhhh dang!!! Today we are breaking down The Purge: Election Year, the explosive third chapter in the dystopian thriller series directed by James DeMonaco. Starring Frank Grillo and Elizabeth Mitchell, this time the plot follows a presidential candidate vowing to end the annual night of lawlessness and mayhem making her a prime target during the nation’s most violent 12 hours. We explore its political themes, escalating action, and how it pushes the franchise’s chilling premise into the heart of American democracy.
