About this episode
Alec is joined by returning guests Joe Testa and Andy Danish to dive deeper into Crystal Lake, the Friday the 13th prequel series! The hippies have arrived, the drugs are flowing, the bodies are piling up, and Pamela Voorhees is getting closer to becoming the legendary killer we know and love. The crew breaks down the show's bold reimagining of the original Friday the 13th, its gruesome twists, creepy séances, trippy acid trips, and the increasingly fascinating descent of Pam into madness. Plus, they discuss the show's Easter eggs, character development, and all the little details that make this series such a love letter to the franchise. Will Crystal Lake stick the landing, or are we heading for a Voorhees-sized disaster? Tune in for all the horror, hot takes, and questionable decisions. Just don't take three tabs of acid before listening. Warning: Full spoilers for Crystal Lake Episodes 4, 5, and 6! TikTok: YouTube: Apple Podcast: Spotify: Instagram: Twitter/X:
