About this episode
Cthulhu Cthommentary is an episode-by-episode exploration of the dark recesses of The Call of Cthulhu Mystery Program - exclusive to Patreon, but we're bringing our two-part exploration of the first episode of "Night at Howling House" public. In Cthulhu Cthommentary we go behind-the-scenes and share ALL our secrets: the roleplaying paths not taken, the obscure historical and cultural references, the uncanny depths of research that go into our parody commercials, and much more. This two-part exploration covers the development history of "Howling House" and start the dissection of the first episode, "The Dare": roads not taken, historical details, clips of our original character-establishing improvisations, and more.
